If a motorist, cyclist, motorcyclist or pedestrian is injured due to badly managed road, kerb or pavement maintenance, they may have an injury claim against the local authority if the authority ought to have been aware of the defect and if their response to the defect was deficient.
We can examine the evidence by the claimant and investigate if the local authority have taken appropriate measures to inspect the road on a regular basis, determined if they should have been aware of the hazard and if it has been appropriately rectified. Where appropriate, we will prepare a report for a solicitor to submit to court.
We can also use our services in contractual disputes between contractors, developers and agencies to investigate if each party has properly carried out the duties they were hired to provide to the expected standard.
